Ambassador of Iceland presents credentials to President Higgins

Ambassador Stefán Haukur Jóhannesson presented today his Letter of Credence to the President of Ireland, Mr Michael D.  Higgins,  accrediting him as Ambassador of Iceland to Ireland. The presentation took place at a ceremony in Áras an Uachtaráin, the official residence of the President.

Ambassador Jóhannesson and President Higgins discussed the good relations between the two countries, Brexit and other issues.
